Happiness comes in many forms. Sometimes it has a UPS stamp on it and gets delivered to your address. Today, it was all contained in a small box from Amazon with inside three copies of the same book, Tibetan Peach Pie: A True Account of an Imaginative life, by "the most dangerous writer in the world" aka Tom Robbins, Terrible Tom, Tommy Rotten (who are indeed all the same person.)
It almost equals the fun of lying down on a leopard print spread nestled between Tom Robbins himself and his amazing Princess Bride Alexa, while petting the tiniest guard dog in the galaxy, Blini Titanium Tomato. I already read the book at Tom's house during my visit at the end of March. That was the galley copy and, not surprisingly, I stayed up all night. Talking about a page turner!
Tom's life adventures are as wild as the plots of his kaleidoscopic novels, the people described as vivid as his highly imaginative characters. No wonder the book is already on top of the bestsellers' list the same day the title has been released. A must. Buy it away!
