I function on passion as fuel. I need excitement more than I need air. My job as a free lance writer/producer is exciting enough, on paper, but the cuts in pay made it difficult to keep the same level of quality for the stories I produce. In other words, if I want to deliver a very good, well-researched on the field story, most of the times I am underpaid by my clients. I pay the privilege for doing a good job myself, which isn't right, but if the alternative is staying home sitting at my desk to copy and paste from the internet like many so-called journalists do, forget it. I'd be bored like a beached whale who cannot make it out to sea again!
Said that, I am super-excited now working at my new documentary pitch. It is promising, right on the news, and with my ability to keep the budget very, very low, and a good camera partner who's willing to take reckless risks just like me, it has good chances of making it to the final cut. Yayyy!!!
Long life to the mavericks!
Passion is my fuel too...money is overrated!
Very excited right back at you, my fellow reckless woman friend.
Onward we go to the unknown for time awaits for nobody, but us to conquer the South !!!
